OLO Brazilian Rum campaign

Situation:
A new, authentic Brazilian rum was coming to Tampa, the primary target for which would be 21–35 year-old males who spend a significant amount of time onlineon Facebook and local sports pages. We needed to build brand awareness for this new product launch.
Solution:
An engaging microsite was developed that showcased the new rums, featured 22 proprietary mixed drink recipes such as the “Brazilian Kiss” and “Rio Sunset,” and highlighted exclusive OLO-sponsored events happening in the Tampa area. To reach the audience cost-effectively, the new product was promoted through geo- and age-targeted Facebook social ads and via online display ads on targeted sites.
Result:
Within 60 days, the online marketing campaign served nearly 10 million impressions that resulted in 40,000 Tampa residents coming to the microsite. Strong engagement metrics indicate high-quality traffic.
