Situation:

Conwood, an industry leader in smokeless tobacco, wanted to communicate new Grizzly brand product launches to their email subscriber base, driving people to a coupon as an incentive to try the new product, and building brand loyalty in the process.

Solution:

To access the coupon, people have to be registered users of the grizzly.com website and log in. Therefore, we segmented the email list based on whether the person was already registered or not, allowing for customized messaging. Emails were dynamically generated based on their profile data.

Result:

While our open rate for the overall campaign is on par with B2C house list benchmarks, our clickthough rates for both groups outperformed benchmarks by 500%.
